IPTV trial setup — five minutes from sign-up to watching

Before you start: grab the email we sent when you requested your IPTV trial. It has three things — your Xtream Codes username, password and the server URL. That is everything you need. If anything is missing, message us on WhatsApp and we resend it in seconds.

IPTV trial on Amazon Firestick

App we use: IPTV Smarters Pro. Works on Firestick 4K, Firestick Lite, Fire TV Cube and Fire TV Stick HD.

  1. Allow unknown apps. Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Apps from Unknown Sources → switch ON. Done once, forever.
  2. Install Downloader. From the Firestick home screen, search "Downloader" and install the free app by AFTVnews.
  3. Open Downloader and paste the link. Type the IPTV Smarters Pro APK link from your IPTV trial email into the address box and press Go.
  4. Install IPTV Smarters Pro. When the download finishes (about 30 seconds), click Install, then Open.
  5. Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API". Skip the M3U option — Xtream Codes is faster and handles the EPG automatically.
  6. Paste the three lines from your trial email. Username, password, server URL. Hit Add User.
  7. Hit play. Browse Live, Movies, Series. Pick a channel and you are watching.
Tip: if Smarters asks for the player, choose the built-in player. It is the smoothest option on Firestick.

IPTV trial on Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Sony)

App we use: Smart IPTV on Samsung/LG, SS IPTV as a backup. Sony Bravia (Android TV) uses IPTV Smarters Pro instead — see the Android section below.

  1. Open the TV app store. Search "Smart IPTV" or "SS IPTV" and install the free app.
  2. Open the app once. The first screen shows your TV's MAC address (looks like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).
  3. Send us the MAC on WhatsApp. We attach your IPTV trial M3U to that exact MAC — you don't need to type anything on the remote.
  4. Wait one to two minutes. We confirm on WhatsApp when your trial M3U is loaded.
  5. Close and reopen Smart IPTV. The full channel list loads automatically.
  6. Pick a category. Sports, news, kids, movies — every channel is live during your trial.
If your Samsung is older than 2018 and the app store does not list Smart IPTV, switch to SS IPTV — same approach, same MAC trick.

IPTV trial on iPhone or iPad

App we use: IPTV Smarters Pro (free, App Store). GSE Smart IPTV is the second-best option if Smarters acts up.

  1. Open the App Store. Search "IPTV Smarters Pro" and tap Get.
  2. Open the app. Tap "Add New User" on the welcome screen.
  3. Choose Xtream Codes API. Not M3U — Xtream Codes handles EPG and updates better on iOS.
  4. Paste your trial credentials. Username, password and server URL from your IPTV trial email.
  5. Tap Add User. Channels load in under a minute.
  6. Pick a stream. Live, Movies or Series — every section is open during the trial.
For AirPlay to your TV, hit the AirPlay icon inside the player while a channel is running. Smarters supports it natively.

IPTV trial on Android phone, tablet or TV box

App we use: IPTV Smarters Pro. Works on every Android phone, tablet, TV box and Android TV (Sony, Hisense, TCL, Nvidia Shield).

  1. Allow installs from unknown sources. Settings → Security (or Apps) → Install Unknown Apps. Allow Chrome.
  2. Open Chrome. Type the IPTV Smarters Pro APK link from your trial email.
  3. Download the APK. Tap Download — file lands in 10–20 seconds.
  4. Install. Open the downloaded file, tap Install, then Open.
  5. Add a new user. Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API".
  6. Paste username, password, URL. Tap Add User and the IPTV trial loads up.
  7. Watch. Live TV, on-demand movies, full series — all running during the trial.
Android TV users: TiviMate is the cleanest UI on a remote. Same Xtream Codes login — just install TiviMate from the Play Store first.

IPTV trial on Windows PC or Mac

Apps we use: VLC Media Player (free, official) or IPTV Smarters Pro for Desktop. Both run on Windows 10/11 and macOS.

  1. Download VLC. Go to videolan.org and grab the free VLC installer for your OS.
  2. Install VLC. Standard installer — Next, Next, Finish.
  3. Grab the M3U link. In your IPTV trial email there is a one-line M3U URL — copy it.
  4. Open VLC. Click Media → Open Network Stream.
  5. Paste the M3U URL. Click Play.
  6. Open Playlist view. View → Playlist (or Ctrl+L). Browse the channel list.
  7. Double-click any channel. Streams in HD.

IPTV trial on Apple TV (4K, HD)

App we use: iPlayTV or IPTV Smarters Pro (both on the tvOS App Store).

  1. Open the App Store on Apple TV. Search "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "iPlayTV".
  2. Install the app. Click Get and wait about 30 seconds.
  3. Open it and pick Xtream Codes API.
  4. Paste your IPTV trial username, password and server URL. Use the Apple TV remote app on your iPhone — much faster than typing on the Siri Remote.
  5. Hit Save. Channel list loads in under a minute.
  6. Pick a stream. Channels run in 4K where the source supports it.
No QWERTY remote for Apple TV? Open the Remote in iOS Control Center and your iPhone keyboard pops up — perfect for pasting credentials.

IPTV trial on Roku

Roku locks down third-party IPTV apps, so the working method is screen mirroring from a phone or laptop running IPTV Smarters Pro.

  1. Switch on Roku screen mirroring. Settings → System → Screen mirroring → Always allow.
  2. Install IPTV Smarters Pro on your phone or laptop. Follow the Android, iOS or PC guide above.
  3. Sign in with your IPTV trial Xtream Codes login. Same three credentials.
  4. From an Android phone or Windows PC: swipe down and tap Cast / Smart View. Pick your Roku.
  5. From iPhone or Mac: grab the free Mirror for Roku app and follow its prompts.
  6. Pick a channel inside Smarters. The video plays on your Roku TV.
If you watch a lot of sports, mirroring works but a Firestick gives a much smoother experience. Many of our trial users keep a $30 Firestick plugged into the Roku TV's spare HDMI port for that reason.

IPTV trial on Android Box and MAG box

For Android boxes (Nvidia Shield, Mi Box, X96, T95) we use TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro. For MAG 254/322/420/524 we link your trial directly to the box MAC.

  1. Android box: install TiviMate from the Play Store (or sideload IPTV Smarters Pro using the Android steps above).
  2. Add a playlist in TiviMate. Choose Xtream Codes and paste your IPTV trial username, password and URL.
  3. MAG box: open Settings → System Settings → About — copy the MAC address (00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).
  4. Send the MAC on WhatsApp. We attach your IPTV trial portal to that MAC.
  5. Reboot the MAG box. The new portal loads on startup.
  6. Open Live TV. Channel list and EPG load instantly.
MAG portal URL is fixed by the MAC, so you don't need to type anything on the remote. We do that part for you.

Troubleshooting — quick fixes

  • Channels load but won't play: close the app, reopen it. If still stuck, switch the player from "Built-in" to "MX Player" or "VLC" in Smarters' settings.
  • "Authentication failed": the Xtream Codes login is case-sensitive. Copy-paste from the email — don't retype.
  • Stuttering on Wi-Fi: 4K streams need 25+ Mbps. Switch to 5GHz Wi-Fi or run a quick speed test at fast.com.
  • EPG (TV guide) blank: wait 2–3 minutes after first login — the guide downloads in the background.
  • Smart IPTV / SS IPTV says "no playlist": we may not have attached your MAC yet. WhatsApp the MAC again and we fix it in seconds.
  • App crashes on Firestick: clear cache (Settings → Applications → IPTV Smarters Pro → Clear cache), then reopen.

IPTV trial install — frequently asked

How long does the IPTV trial install take?

About five minutes on Firestick, Android, iPhone, Apple TV or laptop. Smart TV is closer to one minute on your end — the slowest part is us attaching your MAC, and that runs in parallel while you grab a coffee.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to set up the IPTV trial?

No. The hardest step is pasting three lines into IPTV Smarters Pro. If even that feels like too much, message us on WhatsApp — we walk you through it screen-by-screen, or set it up for you on a screen-share.

Which IPTV app is best for the trial — Smarters, TiviMate or GSE?

For phones and Firestick: IPTV Smarters Pro. For Android TV and Android boxes: TiviMate (the UI is cleaner with a remote). For iOS backup or older iPhones: GSE Smart IPTV. All three accept the same Xtream Codes login from your IPTV trial email.

Does the IPTV trial work on Roku or Chromecast?

Roku doesn't allow third-party IPTV apps, so we use screen mirroring from a phone or laptop running Smarters. Chromecast works the same way — cast a stream from your Smarters mobile app to the Chromecast and it plays on your TV.

Can I install the IPTV trial on more than one device at once?

Yes — your trial Xtream Codes login lets you set up every device you own. Watching on more than one screen at the same time is the only thing the trial gates (one stream at a time during the test). Paid plans bump that up.

My MAG box is asking for a portal URL — what do I enter?

You don't enter anything by hand. Send us the MAG MAC address and we link the trial portal directly to that MAC at our end. Reboot the MAG box once and the channels load.
