Privacy Policy
Plain English. No legalese theatre. Here's exactly what we collect, why we keep it, and how to make us delete it.
This is the privacy policy for IPTV Trial ("we", "us"), the live TV service at iptvtrial.online. We've tried to write this like a human, not a lawyer. If anything's still unclear, message us on WhatsApp and we'll explain it.
Short version: we collect what we need to run your trial and your subscription. We don't sell your data. You can ask us to delete everything we have on you whenever you want.
1. Information We Collect
Two buckets — what you give us, and what your browser tells us automatically.
What you give us
- Trial form data — when you sign up for the free trial, we ask for your email and (optionally) WhatsApp number. That's it. No card. No address. No date of birth.
- Lead storage — every trial, contact, and order form on this site goes into our central dashboard so our support team can follow up. Your record is tagged with the page you came from.
- Email address — needed to send you your login and any service updates.
- Payment info — handled entirely by our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, or crypto gateways). We never see or store your card number.
- Support messages — anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, or the contact form gets saved so the next agent can read the thread.
What your browser shares automatically
- IP address — used to show you the right currency on the pricing page and to spot fraud. We don't keep it long-term.
- Browser and device type — collected by cookies so the site renders properly on your screen.
- Pages you visit — basic analytics, only if you accept cookies. See our Cookies Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
Here's the full list. If a use isn't on it, we're not doing it.
- Setting up your trial and sending you login details.
- Running your paid subscription if you decide to continue.
- Charging your card through our payment processor (we don't see the number).
- Replying to your support messages.
- Showing local pricing in your currency.
- Spotting fraud and abuse.
- Fixing bugs and making the site faster.
- Following the law when we have to.
We don't sell your data. We don't rent it. We don't run ads on you. There's no automated profiling deciding anything about you.
3. Cookies & Tracking
We use a small number of cookies. Some are strictly necessary (login, cart, language preference) — those run no matter what. The rest (analytics, performance) only fire if you click "Accept" on the consent banner. You can change your mind any time by clearing the cookie.
Full breakdown is in our Cookies Policy.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
The only people who see your data outside our team:
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, crypto gateways) — they handle the transaction. They don't get anything beyond what's needed to charge you.
- Hosting and infrastructure — our servers run on Vercel and Supabase. They store the database that keeps your account working.
- Analytics (Google Analytics, if you've consented) — anonymised page views only.
- Law enforcement — only when we're legally required. We push back on anything that looks like a fishing trip.
That's the whole list. No marketing partners. No data brokers.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your subscription is active, plus 90 days after it ends in case you come back. Trial leads that never convert get wiped after 12 months. Payment records have to stick around for 7 years because tax law says so. Anything you ask us to delete sooner, we delete — see section 6.
6. Security
Everything between your browser and our site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Only authorised team members can read account records, and we review who has access regularly. No system is 100% bulletproof — if a breach ever happens that affects you, we'll tell you within 72 hours of confirming it.
7. Your Rights
If you're in the EU, UK or EEA (GDPR)
You can ask us to:
- Show you a copy of everything we hold on you.
- Fix anything that's wrong.
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Limit what we do with it.
- Hand it over in a portable format you can take elsewhere.
- Object to anything we're doing under "legitimate interests".
- Withdraw consent for cookies or marketing at any time.
Email us via the contact page and we'll respond inside 30 days. If we drop the ball, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
If you're in California (CCPA / CPRA)
Same idea, slightly different wording. You have the right to:
- Know what personal info we've collected and why.
- Get it deleted.
- Opt out of any "sale" of your info — though as we mentioned, we don't sell it.
- Not be punished for exercising any of these rights.
Send a request through the contact page and we'll handle it.
8. International Transfers
Our servers and support team aren't all in the same country. If you're in Europe and your data ends up on a server in the US, we use the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to protect it. The same goes for transfers between any other regions.
9. Children's Privacy
This service isn't aimed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from kids. If you're a parent and you think your child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.
10. Third-Party Services
We rely on a handful of outside companies to run the service: payment processors, analytics, hosting, and email delivery. Each one has its own privacy policy, and we only work with providers that meet our standards. If you click a link from our site to a third party (a payment gateway, for example), their policy takes over from there.
11. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this page when something material changes. The date at the top tells you when. If a change actually affects how we handle your data, we'll email active subscribers before it takes effect.
12. Contact
Privacy questions? The fastest route is the contact page or a WhatsApp message — we usually reply inside 24 hours.
